The core of MVB (Multifunction Vehicle Bus) communication units is the RM-MVB20/xx communication module. The interface for connecting to the host system behaves as either a virtual or physical serial link depending on the configuration. Essentially, it acts as a converter from MVB to a serial link. The module is designed in accordance with IEC 61375-3-1.
