The modular (rack-mounted) RAVA control system is designed for implementing superior control in rail vehicles. A variety of cards with digital or analog inputs/outputs are available. Communication to the train bus systems is managed by CPU cards with multiple communication lines (Ethernet, MVB, WTB, CAN).
An important feature of the rack-mounted design is the ability to provide redundancy for power supplies, CPU units, and all input/output cards to enhance the reliability of the entire system.
